Look at the crank as a clock for say. The crank hole needs to be around 10;00 .Then remember your crank shaft has a hole punched in it to. when you put the primary gear on the crank you line the hole on the crank with the hole on the gear. After you tighten the gear down .Remember reverse thread on the crank bolt. Well after you do that turn the crank were the hole are at 10:00.The balance shaft has the dial key that hold the balance weight in place. Turn the balance shaft to were both the crank and the balance punch mark line up when they spin around. Then it in time. I think the crank spins 2 time to the balance shaft 1 .
