Extended swinger and a-arm poll
« on: April 18, 2013, 04:12:17 pm »
Ok guys as you know I'm working with Shawn at Proformance Prototypes in MI for swingers and a-arms http://www.suzukiquadracerhq.com/general-discussion/proformance-prototypes-swingers-and-a-arms/ I'm setting a poll up to see what everybody needs. I have sent a 87-90 250 swinger, he's making me a +2 ladder bar swinger and a set of 87-92 250 a-arms, will be made 2+1 with trx250r threaded upper ball joints to adjust camber. I will be sending my 88-90 zillas a-arms and 87-90 zillas swinger for templates as well. Just looking to see what you guys want, and if you have the odd parts 91-92 250-swinger,87 zilla A's and 85-86 250 A's and swingers to send to make jigs. Parts will be returned. If your not going to order these parts in the next 6 months please don't vote.

You might want to sticky this thread for the meantime just to keep it at the top of the page for now.  Also, is there any rough estimates on any pricing yet?

Roughly $400 or less for a swinger and $450 or less for the a-arms not sure on exact prices yet.

That pricing is raw I'm assuming no plating or powder coating correct? Are these going to be steel or aluminum components? Because I'm dumb enough to ask.

Yes raw, I asked about a local powder coater or plater so that could be an option. Haven't heard back from him about it. they will most likely be 4130 chromoly.

One last question. Will the A-arms come with extended tie rods or can they be made available?

Zilla Swinger for the Hot Rods - these things are already wide enough no need for A-Arms.
Ain't ever seen it......but I have heard it.
