How many of up would seriously be interested in these lights if they do work on AC and make purchase within 3-5 months--I certianly would. 

Hee is a proposal to think about.  Im sure chris doesnt want to buy (at his cost) a light to test for AC compatability that may or may not get trashed...We are all in the same boa, we dont want to spend all that money either not knowing the outcome.......So I propose that is we can get enough people interested and each pay 10 dollars to chris to cover his cost of the light to test he has no risk and only upside sales potential to test them....

Or preferably, find a member on this site with electrical knowledge to test them.  Find a test member...we find enough of us interested and willing to each donate 10 dollars to the tester to buy the light from chris (at cost chris--you have to have some skin in the game too).  Out testor buys the light---tests it...and gets to keep the light for testing it.   I think its a win win for everyone.   WestTexas you interested in being a testor?  I would but I know NOTHING about electrical.  I cant even spell AC.
