PJ38 jetting
« on: August 15, 2013, 06:22:44 pm »
Where to start? I'm a complete idiot when it comes to jetting,,, i know how to run a plug chop to check main and thats about it,,, but i have no idea where to start on things.

The fats:

265
PSI pipe, DG silencer
Airbox w/o lid
some crazy porting; used to be an ice bike and was raced with this cylinder so i would assume its ported for ice track
stock intake
stock reeds (i believe)

102ft above sea level

the skinny,

quad vent PJ38.

Like I said, i have NO IDEA WHAT IM DOING WITH JETTING. And dont want to trash my last bore cylinder,,,, so please help a brotha out?? lol Thank you!!

No clue about the needle. How do I tell what it is? I tried looking on it this morning to see if it was marked what it was but I couldn't see anything

Oh ok. I'll look again when I get home. Hopefully I can find it.
Pretty sure this carb has never been ran on anything. The jets that were in it were so retarded. The pilot was SUPER fat and the main SUPER lean. I'll find them and post what they were
