Except it is theft, he even took my money and didn't order said parts.

Once i am done talking with the police and filing out paper work, i will inform you all what we filed out.

Also i didn't say you were defending him, i have gotten messages from users and also people on facebook defending him. When its clear to see hes a liar and a horrible business man who makes lies up. He claims i never sent a payment, when i have proof. He also claims he never took my motors from New York state, when i have proof he was in my drive way. They guy needs to be behind bars, hes nothing but a thief.

This is what he sent me. Again, i sent 2 complete bottom ends. They weren't all rusty and messed up. Even the the motor i send him in pieces the parts were wrapped in wax paper with wd40



Now this next picture is mine. The motor wasn't torn all apart in pieces the cylinder wasn't missing studs.


He also never sent me pictures of the brand new parts i paid for. I'm sorry but hes trying to send me junk that isn't mine. I wonder who it really belongs to.

I hope all of you guys get your stuff back in the condition in which it was sent.  I have been in this type of business for over 35 years.  I know what it cost to run a legitimate full time business and charge enough money for my services so that I will still be in business the next time a customer wants to use by services. 

A couple of years ago when I heard what  MHR was charging for his services, I was confident MHR would not last long.  I was pretty sure that MHR was not buying  business insurance, paying rent or buying a place to conduct business, paying sales taxes, income taxes, federal and state withholding taxes, buying business license, or having shipping accounts.  It is very difficult to make money when you have to close the business to make a trip to town to go to the post office, UPS or FedEx shipping terminals because you do not have a shipping account. The list of overhead cost seems to be endless when you are running a legitimate business. 

Businesses like MHR and mine requires the shop to be well equipped or you spend too much time traveling to other business to get you machine work or dyno testing done to evaluate you products.  Matt conversed with me before he bought his dyno.  I tried to discourage Matt from buying the old dyno.  He did not have enough experience to understand the short comings of the piece of equipment he was about to buy.  The last time I conversed with him he still had not figured out how to make it work properly on the type of engines he was building where he could get repeatable results. 

I have seen the same problems some of you are facing with MHR occur countless times with new businesses.  Statistics show that over 90 % of the new business fail in less than 3 years because they do not have enough money to get started, they do not know how to price there products and services and do not have the management and social skills to deal with people. 

Many people start their own business because they are confident that they have unique skills or products to offer the public and want to be their own boss.  Business owners that believe they will be their own boss will fail.  EVERY customer that you do business with is you boss!!

What about the other head he sent you, whats going on there.

That sucks, did you ever pay MHR for services/labor?

I would drive down their and get my stuff and if would talk to me like he has talk to a couple of you guys threw messages  to my face

I met Matt in person, hes no taller than i am. Then again i am 6'3.

None the less, i don't need to fight someone to prove my point. I think i already proved my point. There are people everywhere when they google MHR or matt hatfield racing they will find these forums and posts. Hell if you google it right now, one of the first results are from everything2stroke.com. Thats my thread. Hopefully we can make it so no one will ever get ripped off again..

I will be trying my luck with small claims court. If i can't get my stuff back. Then its a loss. But i want to make sure no one else ever gets screwed by this guy. EVER.

As for my 200$ paypal told me its been more than 45 days. But to dispute the transaction with my bank. They will contact paypal and settle the dispute with them. Then if i get my 200 back, they go after who ever the account holder was on MHR's paypal. Regardless if he cancelled his account or not. They said they keep Social Security's and addresses, bank accounts, credit card information so they can't open new accounts under different e-mails.

Oh it's just the usual Internet 'Im a big tough, 7-foot tall, bullet proof bastard' keyboard fighter talk that always happens with something like this.

I'd rather look him in the eye and shake his hand, honestly.

Sad when a 'kid' can be more mature about a situation like this. And even worse when the 'kid' has more money tied up than majority of the people freaking out.

So chuckie if and when you get all your parts back and not even half the stuff you paid for to be done is done and what was done isn't done right your first reaction is gonna be to have the desire to shake someone's hand? Oh not to mention the months of time he's wasted dragging his feet to return stuff he didn't even touch. Sorry man I don't have estrogen flowing through my veins I have testosterone and when someone screws over people the way Matt does it insights anger and hostility not "good job thank you sir" sort of reactions.

I'm not gonna go out of my way to do anything but trust and believe if I ever saw Matt at a race or event I wouldn't hesitate for a second to break his nose for him. One good punch that's all I'd do its a misdemeanor offense in Ohio or Kentucky and I have a really good attorney that could get it dropped most likely and even if he couldn't it would be totally worth the minimal amount of money and time I'd have to spend dealing with court. I mean shoot my brother beat the **** outta two cops and then two corrections officers in a couple hours time (ko'd and concussed one cop collapsed the other ones knee and fractured one corrections officers jaw and choked the other one unconscious) and my attorney got all that dropped to one count of felony resisting arrest he served 4 days in jail and paid a $1000 fine.

Not to mention through all of my conversations with Matt and all of his screw ups regarding my parts not once has he had the sack to apologize or offer to return any or all of my money. So go ahead and shake hands with that POS chuckie just make sure you wipe the chunks of corn from between your fingers and brown residue off when you're done before you touch anything and let him get his crappy persona and residue on anything else.

Putting into type on a public forum that you're going to kick someone's a$$ is assault. Premeditated at that. Talking about how much of a criminal that Matt is, and following it up with assault, and malice is a bit hypocritical, don't you think?

As was stated before by the Mod, try keeping on topic with updates. Making threats against the man isn't going to improve anyone's situation or get anyone's parts back any faster.

I have no dog in this fight. Derrick, I know damn well the crap that youve dealt with pertaining to MHR.

 All I'm saying is that threatening a$$ beatings on a forum that he's not active in is a **** move. If you're going to take legal action or beat his @$$, go do it, then come on and let us all know how well it worked out for you.

Jay I didn't make a threat, I simply said if I ran into him it wouldn't be pleasant and I'd splatter his nose on his face for him. I've been in a lot of fights I know the  repercussions of my actions. And like I said its not a threat it's based on chance.
