Need an LT80 Dyno Run Next!
« on: January 22, 2013, 08:14:30 pm »
Love to see an LT80 dyno pipe comparison
FMF, CT, the almost never found LRD, Trinity

Have no clue what HP they make, had one for 10 years and had gone through 3 kids with it.

I'm down. Have a few pipes to do a shootout :). Of course there may be questioning of real world scenarios and dyno types....

The LRD has the most grunt with the FMF prolly second in that area.
Trinity and Hetrick pipes are my choice for low and top end.
The CT has a bigger expansion chamber thus it's supposed to give higher rpm's.
My national motor with a Trinity can rev 13k+ with a HP of about 15.
It's been a long time since I been on a dyno but those were the numbers.
** dyno's are fickle** LOL

I've run the power pros/trinity/ct and the fmf. I liked the fmf better for grunt and rev. Just sold the 80 last month. No pipes left.

The DG is a loud stock replacement.
Not a good pipe IMO.

I got the wife a 09 klx250s, the damn thing was weak. Reportedly it spun the roller to a mind bending 18 hp.. I bet a breathed on little 80 could beat it   :o
