Aaen, best bamg for the buck and the new ones have good fit and finish.

I'm with you....I love my Aaen, it fit great...runs even better. I agree with you 100%, look at the dyno sheets.

Gusto has more to do with all the chit slung by Q and Kennerz on other forums and Facebook about this site to try and regain credibility for Q and his broken ego and customer base. It's very rare that posts get deleted on this site unless it's me and one of my rants! Lol
I agree AAEN is a good bang for the buck but used Q v1's are always coming up for sale for about the same as you'd pay for an AAEN and they look and fit so much better and have more over rev.

Iirc the Aaen dimensions were taken off another pipe. So it's no wonder that it would perform well. It is a good pipe for the price.
The dcs6 should bring some good results as developement has progressed steadily.

most q pipes have had cracks repaired, and if not yet it will happen.

Buckeye, i gotta disagree with you on the Aaen pipe, i think its built better than a Q pipe and it actually revs higher than the Qv1. I have the dyno files saved from Motorgeeks testing on the old site where the HPR19, Shearer Drag, Aaen and Qv1 were tested.
I have been following both forums for a while now and know all about Q and his puppets, his work thats really shopped out, and his "give away" bike. Think the guy is a tool BUT the deleted post had good information about three pipes that shouldnt have been deleted. Now that group of supporters is going to say the mod is building his own pipes and doesnt want any competition.
Anyway back to the OPs question, i would add the CT Outlaw pipe to the mix for trail riding. The design will turn heads also.

Post were deleted due that I warned Kennerz many times!" if you come in here to stir up the masses you will be banned", If you will note the folks that run HPR products don't seem to get all wound up, they simply say "lets ride"
Kennerz has enough other forums to push RKs goodies.

I only saw his first post in this thread, but it looked legit to me. I've met Kennerz and he seems like a good dude. This is the first thread in weeks that's actually had any life to it....I say let it go unless it turns into a completely ridiculous thread about nothing.

I didn't say the Q pipe is built better I said it looks and fits better. I've not heard of many if any people that have gotten a new AAEN that have not had fitment problems that were pretty major. And I recall looking at dyno tests of the AAEN and the qv1 and the v1 had about 4-500 more rpm of power before falling off then the AAEN did.

!st off I am not competing with HPR or RK, Ill make small batches when I upgrade while making a new pipe design to cut my cost , to be honest , I really not making much on the pipe sales since I am only looking at batches of 10 and the dyno testing cost, all out of pocket..
2nd I also paid out of pocket to buy and test the Aaan Pipe, my dyno reading were not as good as HPR runs, just followed the Q-1 pipe by 3 HP, but then again $400 pipe, that might fit, and has questionable quality for the internal welds. (mine was plainly see the welds were not hammered down smooth)

Here's a pic of a v2 that was repaired. When the dyno days happened 1& 2 happened the results were shown... There was a show down at dumont, Zelda was gapped heavily by Dale and it's on vid.
The tears never stop.....

capture screenHere are two of the dyno runs done by motorgeek that were deleted off the old site. I saved these to my computer way back. Aaen and Q pipe are pretty much the same on most runs but i like how the Aaen pulls away on Dales big reed engine.
No question HPR19 is the pipe for the zilla though....but for the money Aaen all the way.

Gusto do you not see how on your first graph the AAEN dives at 8500 rpm and the Q v1 is still plateaued? Meaning had the dyno test gone to higher rpms the Qv1 would've kept revving where the AAEN was maxed out at 8500 rpms.

Yes i see that, i attribute it to being the shut off of the testing. The other graphs show the Aaen and Qv1 mirroring each other like i stated in my first post. I posted up these graphs as information to the OP.
Reading a dyno can be misleading, so much depends on the particular bike thats on the dyno. Most of the graphs i have seen show the Aaen and Qv1 very close in hp and max rpm.

Really at this point who cares use what pipe you like and actually show up to ride. It was kinda funny me and the other guys were talking, the same people show up every year. I think next season we should start a pool as to how many will come. You can only win if you show up. I gotta give props to David who drove down from Sacramento, only to have on going mechanical issues.

This was dyno jetting with Q-1 and Aaen Pipes, yes on a Q HRD engine to add, also Ill throw in a FMF dyno run .

This was a Tudors Duner Porting.
