ftz pipe painted question

I have an ftz pipe and silencer that are painted red with high temp engine paint. Will the paint affect the preform???

I think the pipe is now junk because of the red paint. You should sell it to me.

That's definitely a red FTZ. Great pipe. I'd try stripping it back to bare metal if you want to ditch the red.

You'll have to wait till next year. I bought a knock off go-pro cheap and it didn't work right. I only had a few short clips come out. I'll see about posting up some videos in a new thread.

Airplane stripper should work fine to take that red off.

 Hi^  sorry but I.have to ask Gillio what that metal dealy-jiver is on his water hose. Is that an inline water temp gauge?  If it is, how much was it, and where could I find one like it?

Inline coolant temp gauge from Eddie Sanders Racing. Mine is mounted at inlet of the motor. It will give you a different reading than the heat seeker gauge that's mounted between the head outlet and radiator, but its mostly for reference rather than exact temp. I use it to see when its warm and the temp coming off the track.
