Don't bother wasting your time. I dont know why they call them case savers anyway. they should call them case destroyers ! Just put a did x ring chain on new high quality sprockets use a laser to align front to rear sprockets set the correct tension clean chain with kerosene as did recommends and use chain wax just like they ship it and forget about it. Don't worry about your heel either if the chain breaks as so many cheap ones have it wont touch you. It will blow the case saver off as well as a hole in the stator case. I can post pics of carnage from running chain just a little off center if you want. It's a nightmare at least i saved my chunks to weld back on. Sure would have been nice if someone saved yours before you got it.
