My first attempt at splitting my trx250r cases I had trouble to. Taking pictures of the removed assemblies in the cases helps.

I had to install everything inside the cases, then the clutch side in order to spin the crank and shift gears to watch the countershaft spin at different speeds to make sure it was together properly up shifting & downshifting numerous times.
