V-force2 Reeds
« on: February 25, 2013, 11:01:39 pm »
Hello does anyone know if the vforce2 reeds are still the best.  If they are has anyone had Moto Tassinari do a run of these lately for the 88 and up 250/500 or do they simply not make them anymore. Thanks guys

Still the best, 87's are easy to get. Small reed 88+ is hard, supposedly MT still has some on the shelves if you call them, other than that you need to hunt them down.

Alright so I havent heard back from M.T. but I contacted tudors and asked them about the 1988-1992 lt250/500 and they said they had  V2 with the proper reeds and tensioners for 149.00 + 18.00 for shipping.
Total= 167.00
so that was good news for me and I will let you know if I hear anything from M.T.

Yes. V2 with the proper reeds and tensioners.
You can paypal to this email address 149.00 + 18.00 for shipping.
Total= 167.00
Make sure your address is included.

Or you can phone order 951-549-0771 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mon.-Fri.

That is what I was emailed, but I have not visibly checked because I am in washington and they are california.  Before I order will have the shipper double check.

Alright they are ordered. Jeff is a awesome guy to talk to.  So he is also building a 620cc big bore kit for the 500 that sounds pretty sweet.  I called for reeds and ended up having a hour long conversation which was well worth it. Thanks for reminding me lt250rwv.  He is out of reeds and has some coming in next week.  Jeff has his VF2 reeds made with the correct tension for ATV's so they dont break I guess the originals were set up for motocross and broke a lot.

If I had to guess I would say they will be here in two weeks. He is getting them next week and then shipping to me.  The total shipped was 172.00
