just did my first case split & bought 3 things that made my life easy..

& i would suggest not to pry the 2 halves apart, like with a wedge or pry tool. there is no gasket in between the case halves, so prying will likely scratch or gouge the machined surface & cause some kind of leak. i used a smal rubber mallet to tap sides a LITTLE BIT while i was tightening the case splitter toll. fell right apatr for me.
