wondering how many people are running the 69mm piston in the 88-92 250's? seems like the sleeve would be very thin at that bore. i have a cylinder thats ready to go to that size and curious if anyone has had good or bad luck with running it.
I have mine at 69mm.Havent had no problems with it.Anything after 69.mm is were you run into problems with the sleeve being to thin. You would be okay running it.
Bro, sleeves are way overrated. I don't even have any.
Iceracer told me my 69mm bore cyclinder may be a good candidate for a big bore build. Chances are you better keep it rather than tossing it. I believe I may have heard rumors about him offering it soon. I'll be searching fleabay for a second motor to have built if it becomes available. Stroker crank possibly, not sure, but how cool would that be? 320-330cc !
Are there any stroker cranks available? I've heard of them, but can't say I've seen one. I've got an extra crank and have been daydreaming about what could be done with it. Anybody build their own stroker cranks? Im guessing with some welding and machining it could be done. How much can they be stroked? Do you have to run a spacer plate or a shorter rod? I'd like to see a good thread on 250 strokers
Only stroker available are if you have it done. That cylinder dosent look too promising, I'll know more this week once ai get into it further.
There are 375 Tecate motors.... And Klemm is building stock stroke 346cc Tri-Z's. I want MORE out of the Suzuki!!!
I want a big more cylinder with a peer valve that actually changes the exhaust port timing too!
It doesn't surprise me iceracer. 25 years of abuse sucks.
