Just take pics of the transmission and the relationship of the shifting forks book doesnt give good pics sometimes.
OK, LT250RWV....
Your quad looks like my little brothers James.
I pieced it together from two parts quads I bought. The motor is from an 87, the frame is an 88. The swinger is 87, shock is 87, has rad mfg. Axle carrier, and all new bearings everywhere. Runs/rides awesome. I love it. It's my daily rider, I'm slowly building a motocross/xc quadracer to race. Gonna do a Honda front clip on the 87 frame I got. Just waiting on money
I will say that the new shocks are effin amazing!!! holy moly does my LT ride differently.
You got the fox floats right? You don't even have a front clip do you? Was it floats for a yfz? What a arms again? I'm tired of looking for a front clip. Tomorrow I buy tubing. Im just gonna build my own.
I have 2006 YFZ 450 front shocks. Stock front geometry and arms for now. I found a front clip pretty easy. Started it but stopped working on it. If you can bend tube i would say thats the route to take because you will still need to bend some tubing.
Yeah, I don't have a mandrel bender, but I've got a welder, torch, and a metabo. Gonna try to make due with that. I got a bud with a 400ex. I'm gonna copy that so I can run Honda parts up front.
Had my LT on a track for the first time Saturday. The factory front shocks wore me out. That and I haven't ridden on a track in 13yrs lol. But I had a blast. There were a couple 4 stroke 2 wheelers out there. I could hang right with em for a lap or two. It was just a short moto section on a hare scramble course. I got to run a couple hot laps on the HS course. Only break down was a bent rim. Had a spare. The LT did great! I even did alot of putting around with my son on his fitty. No fouled plugs, no problems.
