A typical M10 hex nut might weigh around the same as one of these titanium acorn nuts.
A m10 acorn nut might weigh around .75oz or .35oz more than a titanium one. If you have 7 head nuts, that might save you around 2.5 oz or almost half the weight.
If you currently have just standard hex nuts, these will make your quad look better, wont add or lose any weight,  and they don't rust like steel.

Will be trying to install a set of M10 acorns onto a zilla engine this weekend. Hopefully they fit the cool head. Will get pictures up when done.

What precautions need to be taken if any when dealing with dissimilar metals (steel bolt or studs with titanium nuts)?

None I know of. But if you are worried, just get some Titanium studs.

Installed a couple parts on the LT already. Installed 4 flange nuts on the front rim, shaved off around .55 oz of rotating mass off each rim. Total around 1.1 oz. Also installed a couple flange nuts on the motor mounts. Will finish up installing more and get pictures.

The lug nuts are flanges, the M8 fit the front, but not the rear.
The hub nut aka castle nut, I will have some soon. But I think the rear and fronts are different sizes and I will only have M14.

actually the lugs dont have to be OEM style.  Just the castles.  I run the gforce extended hubs and without the thin oem castles, you cant get the carter through.
