Lt250r engine and pipe
« on: April 02, 2014, 04:13:54 pm »
So I picked up a 250 cause I need the running gear for my hybrid build. Selling motor, pipe, carb and electronics
Motor is supposedly a 265 CT motor. I was told it is stroked. Has cool dome head 20cc ?

Pipe- not sure, hand coned and plated. No markings

Carb- supposedly a RM250 carb

Took it for a ride and it hauls ass. Will get a compression reading this weekend

How much on the pipe and silencer? Maybe dyno port? He used to make coned pipes.

I had a trinity pipe on my Zilla for a while and it was a decent trail pipe. I fealt it was more of a mid power pipe. Not sure if the curve is similar for the 250's

So heres the deal. The pipe-$100 plus shipping
Called CTracing today, they said they never made a 265 kit for the LT. Definitley ported by them though. Will get compression this weekend and might even pop the head off to get the bore size. Looking to get $600
Carb-$50  will post serial number

I have a Trinity which is the same. They are decent low to mid pipes. I only ran it on Trinity's trail/MX porting. I've been wanting to revisit it on my Bartlett motor to see what it does on upper rpm porting.

A 69mm bore is either a 262 or 265. I always claim 265 cause if it's 262 I'm just gunna round up anyway. That's probably what it is

So this is what I found out . Bore is 63mm. Top end looks good, nice and clean. Port job looks clean. And found out it has a PVL adjustable ignition. So I am gonna ask $750 with all the PVL electronics. Someone built this thing to run! Will post pics soon. Oh yeah compression was around 150psi but I was kicking it on my stand so I think it is a little higher
