If you do a complete frame up rebuild you have a long fun road ahead of you. But that's is a steal of a deal for that bike!

i saw him riding and he had just blew it up  it was in horrible shape so i had to act on it he said he didn't take it out in yrs lol. Also Ken is a reputable builder. he knows his stuff and every time i deal with him i am always satisfied with what he brings me. the power he produces is like no other and for the $$ cant beat it!

Ken O' Conner?  He should change the name of his shop to flashcard racing.  The guy is a joke, which is why he sticks with kids and their Blasters.  I wouldn't send him your cylinder.  He always talked about the "butt dyno" because he was never able to do any real testing.

he does  2 stroke and 4 stroke motors hes a hell of a builder in my book and everyone who goes to him is always happy with his work as i am. heres a little taste of what ken does to motors.

hes a great builder and he has my respect, honest, and caring guy that really does care about the engines he builds and the people with them!

X2 stick with a guy who knows zilla's cause they are their own breed as far as 2 strokes. They have alot of unique quirks to be worked out. Jerry hall is the most knowledgeable guy on these things.

I would recommend asking some important questions before making a final decision on who build your engine. There are a few that are highly recommended here, make some calls and I'm sure you will learn a little bit as a side benefit.

Jerry at HPR helped me out, and was very patient with the many questions I had.

Ken o conner may build some nice blasters and 250rs, but he dont know
Chit about zillas. I called him about a motor he built in a 500 i was looking at buying
a few years ago.  He had an attitude about questions regarding
O rings and squish for the head, flywheel welding, reinforcing cylinder ears,
and he said he didnt use billet thrust washers.
That 5 min conversation told me i would not be buying that particular quad
and that Ken isnt very knowledgable about zillas.  Ask some hard questions
before you let someone cut up your motor.

He was upset you was asking actually questions and not questions about will i notice a power difference.
It takes a real builder to make a zilla fast and reliable.

I agree... Ken may not know zilla motor builds all that well... I feel very confident in him building my 250r motor though.... If you are near ken, then you're not too far from Carl (iceracer)..... One of the better Zuki builders and he's only in ny.....
