Might just be something for us Oregon and Southern Washington guys, but has anyone ever heard of any of these pipes?

They do pipes for the trx250r and OLD vintage bikes, I contacted them about doing one for my LT250 and they said that they could do a custom job for it but they would need the bike at their shop for fitting. probably would be BIG $$$$$ to have that done but I am curious.

That is Arlan Lehman. LED is formally know as LRD. Arlan is a very smart guy and a great engine builder. He is a big trx250r guy with many national titles won by his engines. I talked to him a while back about Suzuki pipes and he is all for it and even has the stampings but the jigs were lost when he sold out LRD. He said cost wise the pipes will be about the same as the trx250r pipes. He just needs a Suzuki 500 and 250 to mock up a pipe on so he can build jigs.

I'm about an hour or so away. but I have an 85 lt250 Soooo might not be the best to go off of because it would only work for the 85-86 range and not the others. Sombody needs to send me their bike so we can get this done, Take one for the team

There is not many options for you 85-86 guys. LED pipes would be a nice addition.

I was thinking that it would be a VERY nice pipe for my 85. I really like how their trx250 pipes look, I wonder how my wife would react to me getting a full exhaust, and a port job... Might be getting a divorce guys, but I'd also have on Bad Ass LT. hummmmm I think its totally worth it.

Ill start taking chariatable donations towards my LED pipe

I'm just saying a LT with a 430 kit and a full system..... I might need to sell my CRF450 sounds SMEAXY tho.

That was my 500 but he's so backed up it was taking forever and didn't feel the quality of work was there like it had been in the past.

Yes, I use Pete for truing and boring work that I'm not tooled for on the 500s.

There are a LOT of 85/86's popping up on the facebook groups and everywhere else. They are easier to find than the 87+! It would be a real nice addition to their aftermarket since there's VERY little support for the non-pv guys

I have the old LRD adjustable pipe on my wifes trx310/ct motor, overall a good pipe, a few small issues, Well only one major issue i guess. For the $500 price, the adjustment seems kinda goofy, It only lines up on the hangers in one position, I am going to correct that with some slotted carbon fiber pieces once i get it back together, but ya kinda would think they would have covered that when they were building them. That was my big issue, the others are yes it does leak! i usually "glue it together with high temp gasket maker. I have tried a number of different methods. The gasket maker seems to work the longest. Every other dune trip i have to take it a part and do it again. The silencer also turned form "black powdercoat" to a dull brown after 1 season, i sanded it down and polished it after that. In my opinion i should have held out and gotten an old school hand coned pipe, But you know how it is when you have credit card in hand and you are at the bike shop! Her bike only makes 51hp with the 310 setup, but it pulls from the bottom all the way up, no lightswitch, Hate lightswitch motors lol

Arlan is a honda guy. One of the best. If you want the same for a suzuki go to jerry. Not to dismiss arlan. He takes his work seriously and takes it personal if you have an engine failure. The amount of R&D time into developing a pipe is not something he is into unless there is demand. Jerry has already done that and more.
Just my .02.

That being said my led Honduki runs hard and I'm happy with it. Made low 70's hp on his dyno. Somewhere I have a vid of it....

Arlan always reccomended using threebond to seal his adjustable pipes. May want to give it a try, it will hold up better.

Lrd pipe on the 500 was always good, I never cared for the 250 pipe on the Suzuki though. It always felt dead, I actually preferred the FMF over it, it would probably make a good woods pipe.
