Trinity cylinder/head work with an .80 over 69mm piston?? Cause you know 250+80=330.

I've got a big bore something or other 250.
Uses a different piston I think because the bore is so big.
Think I'm going to check and see what the bore measurement is today.

I want to see the bore and stroke measurements.  I am doubting the 330cc.  I'm going with what Quadster said.

Piston is 73.95 mm bore is 74 mm not sure on stroke I was told it was a 330 if you call trinity they will tell you that they use to do a 330 for the lt250r. it may be only 295 cc i'll try to find out the stroke when I get time and put up some pictures.

Just measured mine and it's at 74.2mm (hard to get a good measurement from a cylinder that had a seized piston)...can't find piston anywhere.
No idea how to accurately measure stroke while crank is inside case, but there is a spacer under cylinder.
Cylinder is engraved with LRD, definitely ported, no measurements engraved anywhere, only serial numbers and re-sleeved noted under intake.
Bonus...just realized the head has been O-ringed LOL

It must be made up for the cc in the rods. The piston in the picture is 67.50mm so it only bored .20 over.

Fooled me too.
Sleeve looks AWFUL thin...
Anyway. 74mm piston+76.7mm stroke=329.87cc. Or more likely, 74mm piston+76mm stroke=326.86cc, so +7mm bore, and +6mm stroke. Methinks the piston would freeport, unless it was a longer piston, then it would only hit the crank at BDC, so a longer rod is needed, which would need a spacer plate, unless the piston is designed for it. Know what I mean?
Also, ouch on the head stay mount.

Well I know ESR makes a 330 & a 370 kit for the Hondas.

On the 370 kit you have to have the cases ported.

Too bad the bottom end wouldn't hold up to that kind of punishment.
From what I've read, they barely hold up to the 270HRD.
