lt250r sprocket guard using one from ltz400
« on: December 30, 2013, 08:20:03 pm »
Here is a couple pic of the sprocket guard. I wanted to use this to get more ground clearance. Will be on the quad tomorrow.

That's just a mock up. I run alot smaller sprocket then the one in pic. I wasn't 100percent sure this would work. didn't have time to mess with quad tonight. So I grabbed extra stuff laying around. Also ltz400 sprockets work . Lots of those out their. But this a 42 tooth in pic. So I wouldn't do this if you have as big or bigger then it. 42 still might work will check.

I like this idea, but I ave had a problem with a similar design on a 300ex the metal bent and had to be ripped off because the chain was basically cutting into it. but then again the kid riding it hit a stump and didnt tell anyone.. so probably wont have that problem... good thread though  P*

looks good, now you need one for the rotor, cause if you bend it you are screwed..
