There is a lot of good information on this site for those that are willing to take the time to search. Most of the top 100 common questions that Quad owners have, have already been answered on this site in great detail.

I am sorry but I do not have the time to keep up with what is happening all day long on Face book and answer the same top 100 questions over and over.  2c

How do guys that have full time jobs stay employed when they have to check their phone many times per hour to keep up with what is being streamed on facebook or the other social networks?  When I employee someone I am buying their time and I expect a 100% effort from them physically and mentally.  Any outside distractions interfere with the quality of their work.

I have been working by myself the last few years and need more help.  I need guys that already have the skills and or are willing to give what it takes to learn and master more skills that it takes to make superior products, bullet proof repairs and engine modifications.

Over the last few years cells phones have been one of the main reasons that I did not hire some guys and others that were hired are no longer with my company.  They seem to think that being able to use their cell phones while on my clock is a constitutional right.

I agree it gets real old watching people stare into a smartphone all day. They would not work for me either.

Facebook has killed forums.  The groups on Facebook are basically the same questions over and over and over like Jerry said.  The forums are much nicer for finding information, assuming you're the person that searches before asking the a question that has been asked 100 times already.

On a different topic.  I've now been at my new job like a month now.  I'm a production engineer at a place that manufactures large gears, couplings, rope drums, gear boxes, track wheels and things of that nature.  Most of which are used in steel mills.  The track wheels are usually used on overhead cranes.  Some of the gears here are huge!  There's one in the shop that is about 12' Dia x about 2' wide.  I'll get a few pictures and post them in here.

Here's a solar air heater I made that just recently has been installed and finally working.  I did this as a fun side project and to help cut down on the heating cost of the garage.

Built on a 4x8' frame.  It's a screen type heater with 6 layers on aluminum screen.  Air is pulled through the system using a 37watt 6" duct fan, which is the only power consumption.  A few days ago the temperature was around 23ºF and not a cloud in the sky.  The heater was sucking the 50º air inside the garage and pushing it out substantially warmer.  The highest temp using an IR temp gun was 127º at mid-day.  I don't know how many CFM are coming through, since I don't have an anemometer.  During mid-day with full sun it should be putting out a little more heat than a 1500watt space heater, if my basic calculations are correct.

Here's a few pictures of it.  It now has a 4x8' reflective panel mounted on the roof right in front of it.  It's painted blue because I got the paint for free from Sherman Williams.  I would never pick that color haha.

Looks like Photobucket wants $399.99 a year to be able to host pictures.  LOL that's not happening.

I'll be downloading all the pictures I have on there and deleting my account.  Who the hell is going to pay $400 a year just to be able to host a few pictures.

What’s is up Chris you pole smoker? I started a new job as well about a year ago. I moved on from residential HVAC to commercial and industrial HVAC and couldn’t be happier. My 500 is going on 3 years in July of being down. Cases are split sitting on a table in my basement just gotta press bearings out and new in then reassemble. Have a fresh top end ready. Haven’t had much time for it as I’ve had two kids the past 3 years. Facebook is a clown show I deleted mine like 8-10 months ago I’m totally unplugged from social media with exception to YouTube.

Lol my hybrid is a never ending project.  It's currently getting 400ex spindles so I can run dual piston yfz450 calipers.  Nick is having titanium brake rotors front and rear made for it, which is what I'm currently waiting on.  I'm curious how they will perform.  I've been looking for a used set of honda bolt pattern hiper beadlocks for it.  Then I'll also be able to use those durablue rear hubs I've had sitting for a few years.  The rear brake rotor being Ti and swapping rear hubs will remove about 3lbs of rotational mass.

Chris sounds like good ideas I just traded a kx126 I got in a trade for my old black truck for a bone stock 99 banshee barn find. I’m going to be xc racing my banshee this summer so I’ve been getting it all ready for that. My zilla still hasn’t been touched lol.
