Yeah, to say the least. I've spoken with Matt to a good extent, and he was completely oblivious to what was going on beyond the doors of his shop. That's about all I will say about that.... He has spoken with GoDaddy to get his site back up, and they told him that it will be a couple days.

Its pretty obvious, and safe to say that it looks like her intention was to drive his business, reputation, and his a$$into the dirt...

And you guys know how people have parts there for over a year? I bet it's only because she wouldn't ship them like she was supposed to and Matt had no idea!

SOrry to see anyone get divirced, but not as sorry as I am to see a guy live with some like her and intentionallyl destroying his name and reputation and customer base.   I woulod bet once he gets this behind him and that biooooch out the door his service shoulod pick back up provided he hearns from what hjappend and he under promises and over deliver and provided that he commnicates, comunicates communicates with the customer.  I always heard matt did good work and was a nice guy----this latest to me reconfirms tha he still is and he was being stabbed in the back and taking it up from behjind by a aaa ah  .....how would you describe her,.

If he does get an assistant monitor her close,,,

If he really wants to save face, imprrress us, and keep his customer base he should post on here a big I am sorry guy..s--update what steps are being done in what priority to get people their parts back.  His game plan to restoring our faith And a quick explanatioin to what the hell hapend.  Own up to his short commings and appologize and change your ways---and where he got screwed by tiff--let us know so we dont blame him,  WE all know a bitchy woman with an adjenda can be dangerous.  Matt  we all hope everything goes for the better for you and for our friends here on this site waiting for parts.

Just think what Matt could do for his business if he had a sharp guy doing sales, shipping, accounting, and customer support.

He needs that guy!!

Anybody been able to get ahold of Matt lately?  I've tried to call him numerous times for over a week with no luck.  Does he have a new email address, since his old one is shut down?  Thanks.

I have 3 motors with Matt. Also sent money for parts to finish one of said motors. I am sorry. Its all fine and dandy if some of you honestly think one person ruined his business. But i have talked to Matt a few times and he has never came through on dates about getting the motors fixed or shipped.

I have gone through some nasty things in the past, Everything i let happen was my own fault. Just like when he decided he wanted to run a shop repairing motors and bikes for people he knew he would be responsible for everything entering and leaving his shop. Tired of playing this song and dance with him. I will give him one more call before getting serious on the matter.

Things are also going down with me and matt. No more bull **** games. Next weekend my Dad and I will be driving down to matts (8 hours one way) and picking up my dads buddy (state cop in Kentucky) and he will be walking us through on how to do this the best way possible on our end. Matt's end well things wont be so good. But hey that's his problem. And after this is all said and done I will be posting a thread on step by step how my dads buddy walks us thru this situation and will be leaving phone numbers and names and such for people (the law) that helped us through the process.

This really sucks for you guys.. Some of the nicest people are being pretty much dicked around. You guys don't deserve this. DP, I need to get Racerx's # because he's got his racer motor and zilla motor with Matt. Also, CJ's 110.

As I have not spoken w/ Matt (not for lack of trying), I don't know the whole true scoop on everything.  I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt and believe most people generally try to do good.  I have spoken w/ Matt over the phone before and through many e-mails, PM's, etc.  He genuinely seems to be a nice, hardworking, honest person...from what I know.

I don't know the truth about all that is going on in his life right now from his mouth, so I'm trying not to make judgements.  All I know is he has a motor of mine, and many new and pricey parts and has for a very long time.  I am unable to communicate w/ him, but not for lack of trying.  It seems he is unable at the time to commit to finishing what he said he could do in a more than generous time frame.  At this point, I just want all of my parts back and am hoping this will happen and hoping he gets through whatever he is going through, and comes out fine in the end.  No hard feelings, I would just like my stuff back.
DP... thanks man-I will contact you tom.

The thing is. I called his work number for only a month. Then his wife gets on facebook after i left a comment. Saying i was a liar and there was no phone calls from my phone. YET i have every single call log in my cell phone . Sometimes i even called 2-3 times a day. When i mentioned that on facebook i got this response. ( look i will look on the caller id to see if you called sometimes calls goes un-answered)... Yeah some do. 2-3 times a day for a month? I don't think so.

While i know people go through hard times, As i have myself. I've done things i'm not proud of. But when this is your personal business this is how you put food on the table. You have to make do with what you have and keep working. It doesn't take much for him to simply call me with an update even once a month. That hasn't happened. I like Matt. I purchased that hybrid quadzilla and tri-z250 off him and he drove them from Ky To Ny for a 300 dollar delivery fee. He seemed like a super nice guy. But this song and dance is getting old, my feet hurt. My ears no longer like the music.

I'm in communication with Matt on a pretty regular basis. I can't speak for others but I was literally 10 minutes from getting in my car and driving to his house and he sent me a picture of a package addressed to me and a tracking number. I got my cylinder, carb, new piston and someone else's head. Matt found my head last week it had nothing done to it (squish corrected or o ringed) Matt advised me he's missing the tooling to o ring it but could cut the squish and get it out ASAP. I know he's working to get people their stuff back from what he's told me. Anyone that's been through a divorce should know that the first few weeks are the toughest Matt is probably in a pretty shitty place mentally right now. I'm not defending him just saying I've been there and it sucks. It's no excuse to have someone's parts for months or over a year. It's also no excuse to ignore communication with people who have expensive stuff in your possession. I'm gonna be patient with my head for a couple weeks then my patience will be gone. I can't even race until August 10th anyway so I'm not in a huge rush anymore but I still want my head back.

I can also say that asking DP to get your stuff back for you is probably pointless. Matt has your stuff based on a civil agreement for services if he gives your stuff to someone else that then leaves him liable for the theft or damage to your parts I can say as a business owner I would never give one customer another customers stuff because it eliminates me from the chain of possession yet I'm still 100% liable.

Doesn't hurt to try. When my Dad talks to the state cop today he will be asking if there is anyway possible where we can pick up your guys parts and get them shipped out to ya.

Doesn't hurt to try at all and maybe Matt will be glad to get the stuff to someone who is willing to pick the ball up where he dropped it. I hope that's the case I'm just speaking from a legal standpoint it's not a smart move on his part but I hope he's to the point where he doesn't care and is willing to let you get everyone there stuff back to them. We've talked a lot Sam and you know I 100% back you in whatever you need to do to get your stuff back.

I talked with Matt's son yesterday, who is apparantly helping Matt out with phone calls and "getting his butt in gear" to catch up on all the work he has.  He told me they had my stuff and several other things that were going to be shipped out the next day (today). Hopefully that is true and I got lucky, as that means it will actually be within their quoted time frame. I sent them my zilla cylinder and head for some porting and a new bore, and the head squish fixed and rechambered as well as o-ringed. They quoted me 4-5 weeks for the work, and if I get it back by the end of this week it will have been 4 1/2 weeks.  As others have noted, they have been very hard to get ahold of lately.  It typically has taken me calling several times a day for two or three days for someone to finally pick up.  And that is with an alternate number (270-242-7712) that Matt's son usually answers (once someone finally does).  The lack of communication is unfortunate and frustrating, but at least it looks like he is getting me my stuff back on time.  We'll see how it looks once I get it back. Hopefully it is all done correctly.  I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for those of you who have had your stuff with him for several months! Hopefully we all get our stuff back very shortly!

He's got a 110 motor and $1500 worth of hard to find parts (the worst of which being the one year only 1969 SL90 transmission and the 1963 C90 manual clutch set up) of mine. Has had the motor since October of 2012 after I won the 'recruit new members' contest thing on the 2SC site where the prize was to have a 2-stroke top end done for free. Well Matt was like 'I'll hook you up with a badazz 110 motor' and was gunna throw in some extra work for free. Like lightened crank, lightened flywheel, custom points delete, doing the sub-trans cut out, custom intake as well as jetting, breaking in and dynoing the engine for me. All for free. Since he has had my engine I've bought a NOS Big Al's Performance Products 125cc 12:1 54mm big bore piston kit from him ($150) as well as sending him all the other parts I've been accumulating for the build. Basically as I bought something I had it shipped to him. Matt and I talked a lot and he even called me up on FaceTime to show me the piston kit and some other boxes of stuff from a shop he bought out not to mention all the advice he's given me and what he's taught me about engines so I've always considered him a friend.

See why I've never said anything?

I also bought an 87 ATC200X engine as well as an 84 XR200R 4-valve cam. He said he would ship it all together to get a better discount.

Right now I have a $500 rolling chassis sitting in my living room that I would love to continue working on but I need my engine back ASAP so I can get things built around it. They say that good things come to those who wait but I'm tired of waiting. All I'd like is to have all my parts and that 200X motor back here at home.

I talked to Matt not too long ago right after the Facebook status and we talked for a good while (I was fixing to go ride though so I cut the call short at like 30 minutes or some ought) and he told me my motor was all apart and on the bench and I've talked to his son on Facebook and he told me that he's seen all the parts going to it and that it looks like it should be a fun motor.

Like I said, I'm holding nothing at all against Matt about my situation because it was understood between the both of us that the work was being done for FREE and I told him myself that he didn't have to rush on it and that paying customers come first. But now I'm needing my motor and can't get in touch with him to get him to just ship everything back.
