Banshee vs Quadzilla results
« on: September 14, 2014, 04:57:32 pm »

My own 1987 LT500R Quadzilla
FMF Pipe with Spark Arrestor Silencer
Airbox Lid ON, 87 Carb with Stock Jetting
Small Reed Top End, Fresh Rebuild
Stock stock stock

My own 1994 Banshee
Paul Tuner Mid's
No Air Lid, Foam Uni
Timing Advanced
VForce Intakes, Stock Carbs
Fresh Rebuild

The Banshee runs hard and clean. It has a really fun rush through the mid range. Great dune quad. This Zilla has no real hit. Its like a tractor and pulls. Riding them back to back the banshee feels faster. It really does, I thought the Zilla was going to be taken down.

I rode the Zilla in the video, my buddy rode the Banshee. He races a drag banshee. I weigh 230 and he weighs 210. This result repeated it self race after race if I didn't blow the start.
Ain't ever seen it......but I have heard it.

...PC pipes and other stuff. My zilla has an aaen pipe, vf3 reeds, little head work, and the power valve is tune perfect. I was getting similar results. Kind of surprised me.
Sure wish parts were as easy as the banshee to come by though
