So..................

Pretty quiet about this trip.  Not seeing too many people yelling they are for sure coming.  I will be there, I know a couple guys are coming.

But really who all is in for this trip?

Well I went to the doctor on Tues to get the thumps up  for the March trip next week, I have diabetes and have been dealing with leg blood circulation problems that are causing issues and requiring daily care of my leg ulcers (Painfull as hell) and will be hard to take care of in Glamis and wear riding gear at this time.

My blood sugar is getting better, doctor says stay on the diet ( no carbs, No Booze or beer i'm dying here), and keep walking daily, I should be fine in a few more months.

You know I feel like crap about this, (Hearing it from Brent, Bill and the others) I spent a huge chunk of cash for this trip and was very excited, new a arms, shocks, pipe and silencer.

Mitch, a Paramedic at my station is diabetic. His MD told him to quit with the beer so my buddy told him to go get bent. The Doc then told him to then switch to Bud Select 55. This along with proper dieting & exercise is making a huge difference in his quality of life. Moral of the story is Diabetes is treatable. Don't let it keep you down.

Sorry to hear that Mitch, get that stuff under control and feel better.

I think us midwest guys should try to plan a glamis caravan next year.  Even the east coasters.  Who wants to try?  Anyone got access to a semi?

I was one of them that had bike trouble. Had the pickup coil go out. Got it swapped thanks to B_fuss! Then the head gasket gave and I smoked some coolant. I did record quite a bit of video on my helmet camera. Still working on getting it sorted out and ready to upload. Looks like some of the files may have corrupted; I had the wrong class of micro sd card.

BFuss, maybe you can get Roy to send you some of the pics he took from the ride to upload here?

PCS had bike troubles so he never got to leave town.

I had a blast out there. After playing with the pressure in my rear Shaw, I'm pretty happy with it now. I'm excited now to start the rebuild process of my 87 Zilla now. This one will be my dedicated dune bike. I also wanted to thank Fred for letting me crash out on the spare bed in his toy hauler. Also a big thanks to Dwilkins for the dune pass.  Mitch, the shirts look incredible but you gotta come out & play next time. This is what it's all about!
