I am putting my powervalve back in and I cant get it to slide all the way into place so the setscrew on the bottom will line up with the hole in the pv. Anybody had this issue? The bearing on the other side is true and I dont recall having an issue getting it out.
My phone will not upload pics to the site for some reason. I am just trying to push it in by hand, I have not tapped or banged on it . Thanks
Ok I think I got this figured out. I was trying to use the old o ring on the actuator side of the valve. The new one I ordered looked a lot thinner and smaller diameter than the old one. I thought I was sent the wrong o ring. The old one looked good so I tryed to reuse it.
Is it normal for orings to swell up after a while? I tryed the new oring and everything slid together easy.
, they get hard after they have been run for awhile I just done a rebuilt of motor and all mine where hard and a little smaller then they were new. But not by much. did you use oem orings or aftermarket ones. As long as your old one isnt hard you should be alright, But if you can get a new oem one i would to be safe. You shoulnt have to push to hard with a new ring.
The old o ring was literally larger in diameter and thickness compared to the oem one I replaced it with. It was still pliable. Maybe it was replaced before with a different one. Anyways, pv is in now. Thanks for the reply.
