I have a 87 lt 500 in need of a new carb the slide is worn bad on the stock carb wich is a 43B00, Im wanting to know if i buy a new Mikuni 38-85 what will the carb internals have to be changed to get me started ( main, pilot, needle, needle jet) it just doesnt seem that the new carb off the shelf is gona work , has anyone ever bought one and figured out what it needs to set it up. Thanks i really need some proven suggestions
