Setting up a "Show Unread Posts" query, that will display everything I have not read, to replace the "Show unread posts since last visit" query would be a good thing.  I often see errors with the current setup.  There will be many unread posts on the home page that do not display when I click the "Show unread posts since last visit" link.  I miss some posts until they happen to pop up in the unread since last visit list.
