Dumont Fishing Trip
« on: March 13, 2013, 08:24:05 pm »
Well guys I think the Hook has been set well enough  +k2 ......  I had to play it a bit..I've had the weekend open all along, I will do Mexico later in the week,..(get in some fishing). just had to make sure there would really be some commitment ,.. ironic as it is RK gave me the "fisherman" nickname trolling for victims at the hill during zillathon in Glamis,(where the big boys ride through the whoops)... but Dumont will have to do this time.   I'll be there the 23 & 24th,... and my racer bud tony @ T&N says he's coming bringing some kinda "big gun"??  WTF?  (That guys crazy with the additives)......I told him no juice allowed in the duner class but he doesn't listen...., Gonna be lots of fun!!

I got a few buddies coming along.. 5 LT's I know of now...3 dune form bikes and two drag setups.   If anyone wants to come by our camp between 9-10 sat am we will have a open house of sorts,.. you can look the bikes over close, I'll answer questions.  After that it will be time to ride,do a little dial in and get to the duning/racing!

cough cough ! Naw the Version 5 should be dropped off today and just in time to do some testing, like to go out 22nd with it, might need a jockey to ride it just to keep in the pack with these guys.

I wish i could come to Dumont , I wouldn't know what to do seeing all those lt in one place, I;d probably  thought i died and went to heaven. You guys are so lucky you can do that. I haven"t even got to ride with 1 lt  in the 2 years since i owned mine. Who cares who has the fastest bike, just enjoy  being able to ride with  each other and hanging  out isn"t that whats it all about anyways, And smash anything out their isnt a Lt. Im sure their will be some bighead Banshee owner or some pokes out their.

You'd think that should be the case, as there's plenty of events for actual competition...Planet Sand, drag strips, Pike's Peak, etc., you know, places that have safety cones and Christmas Trees and checkered flags and stadium lights and grandstands.

Bret does that mean you and Fred can't join us?   I agree it will be interesting, and I have stirred the pot more than necessary, but come on up... It's really different duning there and regardless of the racing bs it will be the fun that counts.
