VERY nice build Aarona !!!!! I'm doing a very similar project on my TurboZilla hillshooter, it was set up with a 84 GPz Kawi turbo when I got it, but since then I bought a GSXR 1325 turbo set up. Just thought it would be nice to keep it all Suzuki. Your pics help figuring out the lower cradle, since the GPz and the GSXR mount up totaly different. I've got +4 a-arms, +12 swinger, Marvin coil-overs, and starting out with a 60T rear sprocket and around a 16T/17T front. And if the turbo ain't enough, the motor came with a blower setup too, although I don't think I can make that fit in the stock frame.... LOL !
Keep those pics coming !!!!!!

Jim,
Thanks for the comment. I can't take all the credit. We used Gixxerquadzilla's bike as a reference. Wanted to stick with the Suzuki theme too. Also didn't want to deal with fuel injection on this one. Would be great to be able to use the stock fuel tank but it puts the engine n the cradle to low. Want to keep as much clearence as possible for the bike.
Last weekend I finished the footpegs basically. I will get up a pic as soon as I can. Also did a little layout work for the oil cooler. This weekend should be building the header (if the parts ome in), work on the oil cooler and new steering stem. Hopefully I can get all that accomplished!!!!

Obviously made some good progress yesterday. I ordered up a 1 5/8" small block header kit for the bends and pipe. Took the Vance and Hines header and cut the collector off it. Then started to see what I could use from it and the header kit. We tried to keep the header tubes as close to the same length. Header is going to a buddy's for him to tig it up. Then bolt it back on the back, cut to length and get the collector fitted. I am going to fit the collector close to sweep. Then shorten the collector for the 2 1/4'' pipe to the muffler, weld on the spring hooks for the muffler and it should be off to get sand blasted and ready for power coat!!!
This will be the first of a many headers for the bike. From what we have been told, header is key to maintain the power. Down the road we are planning on geting some more dyno time and swap headers to find the sweet spot!!! Having a ton of fun with the this project. Can't wait for the next. Thinking about another one for next year already!!!!!!

Forgot the pics of the foot pegs. Here they are. Also swapped out the spindles. CHROME!!!! Front end looks way better now.
Starting fabbing up the aluminum parts for the oil cooler brackets. Little more to do on that then it is completed. Looking at switching from the banjo fittings to AN fittings.
Started thinking more about the fuel tank today as well. I am toying with building out of sheetmetal. Wanting to try something different and I can do it faster than the aluminum one. Not sure though. Running thin on time. Need to have the bike basically done in the next 3 weeks so I can powder coat and reassemble.....

Fuel tank!!!! Started on it yesterday. Made some good progress. Picked up a sheet of 20 gauge and started cutting. At this point it is all tacked together. Just need to cut the bottom for the tunnel to clear the spine on the frame, find a fuel neck and cap, tack the bung in for the petcock, tack on the mounting tabs and it's ready for finish welding!!!!

Header length is pretty close. We tried to build with that in mind. Yes the tank will fit under the skins. Yes on the muffler. Going with the Vance and Hines off the bike.
Not sure why the pics aren't showing???

Little update...
Bike didn't make it to the Raptor Rally. Ran out of time and funds. Bike was a 90% complete roller less powder coat and wiring, plumbing. We are planning on powder coat this comming week. Great thing when a buddy has a powder coat operation that I can use!!! Hopefully start assembly next weekend. Planning on going down to Winchester bay the weekend of June 22nd for a Hill Race.
I wanted to post some pics of the bike as a roller before tear down, but the pics don't show?
Few things to order to complete the build. Will take pics as I go through reassembly. Can't wait!!!!

Bike is finished and made it's first shakedown weekend!!!! Went down to Winchester Bay Thursday morning and just got back. Had a few little bugs to work out but other than that the bike performed flawlessly!!!!
Broke the shifter and rewelded it. (need to re-powder coat, no biggie) Had an electrical issue out in the farthest corner away from camp. (stole wire off the bike harness to fix there and then rewired back at camp) Somehow broke the needle off the tach??? Not sure how that happened? The rear Shaw coil over was way to soft!!!!! Had to have nitrogen added. Good thing are friends from Quervo Racing were there and Daniel had his fill setup with him. He let us borrow it to do some tweaking. Still need a little more fine tuning but really close.
Bike is a total blast to ride. The power is just unreal. Any gear, any rpm it just comes alive!!! It will rev to the moon!!! Very different setup fomr my buddies bike. Yet when we dragged out at the hill, they were basically dead even. He would get the launch on me but we would stay within the same distance the whole time!!! That was the best part of the weekend. Racing with my buddy on two bikes that we built from the ground up. Mine setup more like a dunder and his more like a drag bike. Justa ton of FUN !!!!
I have videos and will get them posted soon. I will post more pics this week. It is the two of us running against each other. Also had my Zilla duner down there. It ran well as usuall.
