Got a chance to try out my new Q Pipe. This is the 2.0 Version said to be a more mid-range top end pipe vs. the high strung original Q Pipe. I had a V1 Q Pipe that I am comparing it too. Today was about 50 degree and I was just play riding on knobbies. No dunes till next year probably.

The fitment was good but I had to make a few easy modifications though. RK said he would test fit the rest of the V2 pipes to make sure they are fixed. The finish is stunning just like the original. I am digging the new silencer design. Sound wise this pipe is still loud a f@*K!!! A first glance the two pipes look very similar. At installing the new one, you can tell the differences. Where it passes through the front fender, the fat pipe profile it very different as my fender is cut too far now (still looks ok).

Now I liked the power from the original Q pipe. It hauled ass for sure. At the dunes where there is alittle more load on the motor, it was great but for sure high strung. It liked to rev and if you fell off the pipe, it might need a gear change. So when I saw that there was a new version with more mid, I couldn't help myself to try it.

I ripped around my property for awhile to get a feel for the power delivery. To be honest with you, it is brutal!! It hits fast and hard almost at the bottom. A stab at the throttle had the front end in a violent wheelie. I have not ever ridden a quad that accelerates so hard. It flat out rips. Just as Q said, power comes on earlier and hard. There is still a very nice top end rush like the old pipe. The new hit it the "powerband" was very addicting!! It fits my riding style better since I like to lug my motors more than punishing them.

This 500 is a freaking handful - very powerful. At any rate I am happy with my decision.

AWESOME!!! dose it seem a bit smaller in size in the mid section now? How much is Q asking for these pretty pipes some one on Face Book said $820? is that true?
and take some pics of the new silencer set up, and show the others the extra bracket on the lower part of the pipe.
I owned one for a while, really nice upgraded pipe, I was offered too much for it to say no.

I had to add this little spacer at the bottom mount. I happen to have the perfect spacer in the garage. This is the new lower mount.

I also had to elongate the factory exhaust hanger hole alittle to get the upper mount to line up. Nothing the dremel couldn't handle.

I can second Rider414's comments about the pipe. I had my Zilla at Little Sahara, OK last weekend. It was very hard to lug it to the point it had to be shifted. It always seemed to jump back on the pipe and pull like a beast. I didn't do much high RPM riding because the sand was crazy rough. I am VERY happy with the pipe on my 500 Fanatic HRD engine.

I also had to make the mount mods mentioned above. No problem, however.

Unreal how nice that quad is Matt. Your like that guy "Monk" with how nice that quad is. Mine didn't look that good the day I took it home new.

It was running really good. It was so rough, I couldn't really work out the proper main jet size, so I just went a size up from the recommendation from Q and didn't open the throttle.

Air screw : 1.5 turns out from seated.
Stock slide, needle and needle jet.
Clip second position from the top.
Main: 460

Choppy dunes are the worst.

IMHO there is no greater riding then glass smooth sand dunes!!

One more thing. It;s a Nice Pipe And i think i am going to buy one soon.

But Don't you all think that they should Take more time on the Welds on the bottom mount Looks Like ****!! with all the Welding splatters.
