Was the pipe brand new or had it been run?  I assume it was never run before you sent it.

Here is the number and address for the place. When you call though you will probably get this guy answering the phone who sounds like he completely hates life. I didn't much care for talking to him. Just try and talk with Joe he is the one doing the work.

Called Joe and he says he does one coat of nickle and one of chrome.

Anybody have an idea how this turns out compared to triple plate with a copper base?
(They don't use cyanide copper in CA any more and I'm not sure about AZ)

Thanks

Last one I had done in AZ was 400.  It was triple chrome over copper.. I'm not completely versed on the chemical process.  That was pipe, stinger w core, end cap, and the silencer housing.  Lot of $$$... I will say after 2 seasons still flawless with a slight gold tint in the headpipe.   The same thing in nickel is 125.00

Mike does that weld on or does it bolt on?

Also is that a bace to help it from cracking?

All of us who have HPR and ride have broken that tab and re-welded it and braced it with a backing plate.

Yeah Bret Dale mentioned to me over time that it will crack so I took a look at what I could do to keep it from flexing. It bolts on, using the front brake line splitter attaching bolt.
