Ill have about $3500-$4000 in my bike when finished if I got offered $8000 it would be gone before the second heat run on break in. That's doubling money and you can build another and put cash in the bank. Would have to say of I saw that stack the Zilla would be in someone's truck.

There was a guy (ProJer) on the old site that was offered 10K for his zilla when he was out on a ride. He said he came back home zillaless.

Holy f**king sh¡t that is a FINE machine. I can open the pics (LOL) and dude, it's soooo clean.

I was offered 2800 for my Penton and its pretty trashed. I mean, 'needs new shocks, middle cases, etc etc etc etc etc' trashed. But then again I guess with mine it comes down to "how often does a 1976 Penton 250 show up" kinda deal with mine. I turned them down and said Sorry, this is my diamond in the rough. So I know how that is with not selling the machine. But man, your bikes gotta be worth every cent of 7g at LEAST. It's soooo nice man....

Projer lucked out... but he had it coming. He had a nice zilla, daughter got sick we tried to do a fund raiser on the old qrhq. He sold his zilla instead, then built a new one we helped him throw together and first ride @ the dunes cash offer and came home without a zilla. Wish he was here, wasn't his name mike??

My reason for not selling my Zilla.
#1 I wanted one every since my older brother took me for a ride on the back of his Zilla when I was about 9 years old and scared the crap out of me.
#2 I only payed $1200 for it and that's all I could afford at that time.
#3 The bottom and of the motor was completely rebuilt already.
#4 The cylinder was ported and re sleeved  already.
#5 Where am I going to find another Zilla for $1200 that already had all that motor work done?
Think about it. Look at all the money I put in to it with out having to completely rebuilding the motor. Then I'm going to sell in for $8000 just to have to go and look for another one to build exactly the  same way and probably have to spend $8000 to do it because the motor needs to be completely rebuilt. If you guys want to sell yours and buy some one else's piece of junk just to start all over again go ahead.
