Bike is done in time for a big zilla ride the 12th-15th
« on: November 04, 2015, 05:11:04 pm »
Bike and 540 HRD rebuild are done and just in time for a big Zilla meet up in Glamis the weekend of Nov 12th-15th.

As it stands now we will have 5-7 big power and hybrid Zillas, so if you are free and want to be part of an awesome group come on out! I will update everyone as to the location as we get a little closer to next weekend.

Enjoy the weekend!

Beautiful Bike!... so I'm wondering like Brian,, why aren't you guys going out this weekend??  We need to keep the true LT lovers together. We will be riding hard thru the dunes and hitting the hill.  We don't get many chances to do this since I hurt Q's feelings so bad out there in the real world.  (as well as the dyno.. actually multiple dyno's ;))   It's a good group showing up.. fast dune rides and Hill Racing planned.  So how many and where are you guys from in the group for the 12th?    I may be able to come down on a day trip if there are any hill racers.. like guys under 200lbs and able to get thru the whoops.. ; +k2?

To be honest, I havent been on the site in a while.... So that lead to me missing out on the the trip that was planned here. Ill be out all week doing work on the property out there so I can definitely meet up with whoever is out there for a day. As to why we are going out next weekend, Q's son and I have been close since high school and he's flying in to grab his hybrid that is being finished and to ride with me thurs-sunday. Its a trip that he planned with his schedule months ago on top of my ride just not being done (new V4s and tuning etc)

Ill most likely be at either the lookout or wash 12 pending if the lookout has people up there.

We should have roughly 6-7 Zillas, and Ill have my car.

I'll let the guys know this weekend but I doubt any can do back to back trips. Really a shame we all didn't coordinate better.  Say hello to Chris for me.  Haven't seen him in a few years.. He back from Colorado?

I will most definitely tell him you say hi.

If you can make it out I'm sure he would be stoked.

Nice Zilla! I'm curious about the rear m/c hose, is that how it's suppose to be or is there a reason you install it that way?
Really nice build. I like the carbon fiber plastic. Looks sharp.

Ywnmn,

What looks funny about it? I've changed so many things on bikes in the past years its all blending together. Maybe the photo makes it look funny? It has am aftermarket subframe and the swing is x4..

I was using "Funny" as meaning not correct, or slightly off like people sometimes do rather then its literal meaning as in comical.

Sorry, mine's upside down. Mine hugs the frame tighter so I thought it went that way. I should've checked diagram. I'm leaving it, bleeding is a pita. Lol.
