It is indeed an 85 with title, and modded to fit an 87+ motor.  It has the 87 in it now.  Local guy, love it!  Maybe meet up at browns camp or sand lake sometime?  Id be happy to share the pics, i have the top end off right now.  I may need a jug at some point in the near future

I found out some info on the bike.  It's an LRD  build.  not sure if it has been re-sleeved or just punched out, guessing re-sleeved but can't say for sure. It's using a Yamaha piston with a 69.5mm piston.  Largest I know of for these are 69.  Serial number is a wiseco yamaha piston.  I pulled the top to do a head gasket as I saw a leak.  Getting info from the builder is like finding hens teeth.  Not sure if I can go bigger or i should find another jug and have it bored/hone/new piston kit and find an intake/reed cage.  For now I think just going to run with the bore it has, it sounded great and had awesome compression.
