Ok so I am doing a complete restore of my lt250r over the winter. This is my first rebuild of any kind of 2 stoke so could use all the help possible, and have many questions. I have posted the piston, jug, and head in the engines section so please look at them and let me know what all I should do and what I should put on it, and who is the best person/company I can send it to for the bore, and other work if it needs done. Also since I am doing the top end and had to take off the clutch to get to the broken key on the balancer I took some pics of the crank too as I don't know if its good or should I go ahead and put a new one in too, if so what company should I get for it (hotrods, or what others is there). Also do I need to get a better clutch basket for it or is the stock one good enough? Here is what type of riding I plan on doing, trail/woods with some open strait stretches along with some hill climbing, I will be riding with mostly 4 strokes and a few banshees and I want to be able to stay with them if not ahead of them lol. I will not be a pro mx racer nor will I be doing any drags, I just want to build the best all around lt250r that runs off of 93 pump gas. So again all the input I can get from anyone with a complete rebuild of their own machine along with the know how of what works best as I don't want to build it all up to have to start taking it back apart to add stuff I should have done the first time. So any help with knowing if my jug has been ported, or head shaved, and if not then should I have this stuff done, and should I add cool head or any upgrades for the electrical. Again I thank everyone for all the help this is the best site I have ever been on along with alot of people with alot of knowledge and experience and I am so glad to have found you
