Atlantic Quadracers

Hey there. New to the site. Or well tried a bunch of times to reg but it wouldnt let me. Anyway. Just bought a 1985 lt 250r. And have found a few problems. I dont like the weak frames. And my cylinder still has a bore job left but cant be bored? Seems there are 2 sleeves? I have only seen this on a tri z. Also are there any things that I should know about. Im trying to save this machine. And sell to a good home.

well the 2 sleeves suck, if you can try to get it re sleeved with a single sleeve.
i heard that the inner sleev can move and cause you more problems. or try to find another top end.

The weak frame issue can be corrected with a gusset kit. Summit Racing, Jegs & Speedway Motors all sell similar kits for about the same prices.

Well I am in need of a few parts. I need aftermarket cables, a new cylinder, gas tank, rad. Ect. This thing is going to be a money pit. Anything else I should know about the motors?
