88-89 lt250r? I couldnt pass on this deal. What do you guys think?

• I cleaned the vin plate up as best I could and tried to read it but the plate itself is scratched up pretty bad. Doesn't look like it was ground down or anything. Its been in a ton of North Carolina mud from what I can tell.
