yes, that turned out to be the problem. Bought a carrier rebuild kit from Nac racing for lonestar style carrier and its been fine ever since.

**** to adjust even on each side and proprely. if i top the suspension my chain toutch my chain slider on swing arm that is changing my chain slack . i have 1 teeth smaller engine sprocket. i am happy you found your problem.
Thanks! i spent a lot of money replacing thing till i got it. I went away from the stock swingarm of the lt250r, I switched over to Lone star swing arm with Lone Star carrier.I love it. I can run 11 tooth sprocket or 12 tooth or 13 tooth all with the same chain.Carrier has a lot of spin which converts into a lot of adjustment. Makes it real handy for what ever style riding im doing at the time.
