thanks. beating an atc bigbore kit is impressive even if its a quadzilla.

i have driven a 86 trx250r. and my 92 lt250r.  -- the trx was an 86 and it didnt get on the pipe till 5th gear then it would endlessy spin on dry pavement!
i was impressed but i wouldnt buy one where i live.  it was a dog till 5th gear.

i heard the suzuki lt250r was the acceleration king of the 250's. is this really true? how about the 400/450's???

I,ve heard the Tecate 4,s were the quickest stock for stock but handling was the worst of the 3.Sprock racing apparently has some big bore kits that make them Tecates fly from what I,ve heard.Always wanted an 88 Tecate, just too damn expensive up here.

Would be interesting to see how one of Carls Big Bore 250,s match up against the Tecate 310,s.

Buddy has a t4 and had one prior. Seems like a bit of a turd plus you cant buy anything for them and the stuff u do find is priced higher than its weight in gold. Never seen one built tho.

My buddy had one they feel like you're too high sitting on them and it doesn't give you a stable feel when riding fast in the turns. My 87 lt250 used to destroy him

Tecates really rely on the power valve. If its wore or isnt working properly it will be a turd. I agree bout tje top heavy issue.

perfect!!!  this what im talking about! there are faster atv's but try passing an lt!!!!

its like.... ogh yea your banshee is fast?  i know a great trail.....
---
i think a 400 piped and cammed will still bow down to an lt.  the 450's have a weight disadvantage only..... and they sound like **** :)

Don't get me wrong he would keep up just fine but there were parts I could get away. Due to its lack of low end grunt.
