• Hello,
  
  Someone locally has two pipes for sale for an LT250r.  One is a stock 85-86 pipe and the other is an aftermarket pipe.  I'm guessing a DG but I'm hoping you experts can help.  Also, can you tell by looking at the pic if this pipe would fit the 87-92 model years?  I have an 88 and 92 so an 85-86 pipe won't do me much good.

• I can tell but I wouldn't waste my money on it I was just save my money for fmf or scp pipe.

• From what i've read the scp is pretty awesome, it will be $600+ once you get it chromed etc. I wouldnt do an fmf, dg, etc pipe unless you got a screamin' deal on one in good shape!

• I have the scp pipe which is the better pipe. A fmf isnt bad setup way better then stock.

• The 85/86 engines have drastically different port timings so the pipes are drastically different.

• dg use to use j hooks on there pipes and and would sometimes stamp the back side of their brackets with dg
