So then whats the deal with the MHR pipe beening produced? Is it Matt having them made, or someone else having his pipe made? And will they still run the FMF silencer or are they going to have a dedicated silencer for the pipe design?

Sam found someone else to reproduce them. Read his post and you will see where he states "...$50 for the silencer that you've gotta run because of the head pipe angle"

Or something like that.

Well is that $50 for a FMF copy silencer or a different set-up? Any MHR pipe I've seen ran an actually FMF.

And not to push any buttons. But if Matts not invloved, whats the etiquette for having someones else pipe made?

To be honest, Im under the impression MHRs pipe was a FTZ copy anyways.

Hope it turns out really well. I seriously wish someone would design a better pipe than the fmf for the oldest gen, 85' & 86'.  2c I'm not putting down the fmf because it's a solid trail pipe, but it sucks on top end I think.

I have zero worries of matt trying to step in. Period. If the dude is now working 7 days a week at a jo, his shop is gone, and some other personal info I don't think he has the time/care to stop this or hell even find out.
Im not sure why you have always seen fmf silencers on his pipe because the positioning of where the stinger sits his custom silencer is the only one that works.
The guy that is building them for me has built over 40 pipes and has pictures for proof. Also the way he wants to be paid gives no chance of us possibly getting screwed out of money like some things that went down with MHR. This thread will not be  Hi^ with that though.
Im also considering seeing if he wants to put his own twist on the pipe to give it more mid range so the MHR is somewhat of a top end pipe only.

I can only assume these will be for power valve years, since there seems to be little interest in the early models due to a lack of aftermarket parts?

I not trying to ruffle feathers here. Just had a couple questions about it. I only know a couple people with this pipe, so pics I've seen are limited. The ones I seen might have been from early stages of it.

Edit- I just dug through Motomans pics and see his silencer. I only logged onto 2strokecentral a couple times, so I never saw any pics of the finished product.

American if you can find someone with the 85-86 pipe and you can work something out with him that he would let you send the pipe out to this guy he will build you an exact copy. You will need more than just you though probably 2-3 people.

One of MHR's. MHR made one for the 85-86 and its much better than the fmf so if you can find one and work something out this guy I know will make ya few copys of it.

I pm'd chuckie, hope he has more info on it. I believe if people had the option on this website to buy these special pipes for the old gen's, that they would. I'm on the hunt now.

Honestly I don't think starting a thread on here will do much. If someone on here has one they would've said something in this thread by now.
