It's to bad the machinist didn't etch the cc's in the head stay. Gonna have to get the correct instruments to calculate cc's

I have a 250r that runs best with a 23cc head but requires 100% race gas :/

I've heard that if you take an eye dropper and count the drips to fill it up and that's the cc size.never done it so I'm nit 100 percent sure

these are both oem.  never touched. if you look on the tops of the heads you can see one is E1 the other style is E2 the one with the smaller dome (E2) is off of a 87 if i can remember correctly and the other(E1) is 88-92.  i have several sets of both styles and always wondered what the cc difference was but could never find any specs. ill have to research on how to measure them myself. i thought there might be someone on here that would know off hand the differences. thanks for the the feedback

If you want to know the cc's of the dome, turn the head upside down with a spark plug in it, fill it with water until it's flush with the base, and then pour the water into a graduated cylinder.

I heard wider dome more topend smaller dome width more low end an midrange. Maybee that how they done it to achieve same goal   from large intake to small. To make them run close to the same with dome width. I put 87 e1 on my 91 had it widen for bore size and it had alot more low end and midrange then before with e2 wider dome.
