What pwc piston for 270?
« on: December 17, 2013, 10:37:40 am »
It's getting to be about my last bore, does anyone remember what pwc piston was used in the 270 kit?

Also, what's a starting point for jets for. 87 250 with fmf, boysen, and Keihen 39mm

Thanks.

The piston that you are asking about is:Wiseco Part#: 722M06970
The piston is 1mm taller so you will need a couple of base gaskets or cut the head because the piston will hit the head.
Also, you will need to modify the piston skirt.

Also, I forgot...You will need to use the 85-86 head gasket to compensate for the larger bore.
With the 87- gasket , the bore hole will be too small!
