I also forgot to mention that there is a small gap between the cylinder and header flange. There is gunk coming out of that gap and it looks like all it needs is the bottom bolt screwed in all the way. I also don't have a spring on the head pipe, but there is only one loop to hook the top of the pipe to the header flange. It's a FMF Fatty. Could that gap or exhaust leak cause the bike to run weird? Either way, I'm going to tighten up that bolt but I guess I just want to feel good knowing that's the culprit since I still have to get the front-end all put together.
