You should be around 37.5-42.5, with the air screw 1.5-2 turns out and the slide at 1-2mm. I think your needle Jet maybe worn out and allowing to much fuel past the needle at idle. That is why it is acting rich, needle itself maybe worn also. I'm not talking about the needle valve.
If brains were gasoline, you couldn't power a **** ant's go-cart 2 laps around a cheerio.
