What are the measurements on the stock drain bolt for the 250? I'm looking into something like this: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/group.asp?GroupID=QDOILPLUGS&utm_expid=10520551-4&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Furl%3Fsa%3Dt%26rct%3Dj%26q%3D%26esrc%3Ds%26source%3Dweb%26cd%3D1%26sqi%3D2%26ved%3D0CEoQFjAA%26url%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.pegasusautoracing.com%252Fgroup.asp%253FGroupID%253DQDOILPLUGS%26ei%3D2QalUN_tD4rGygHf3IH4Bg%26usg%3DAFQjCNH23YTnWv91fQ4Zs3rjTS64vjSaKg%26sig2%3DP7VlSFkQY0ptvavnpjV-uwwould be rather convenient for oil changes and those times when you have to pull the engine apart 6 times to troubleshoot a problem.
so i stumbled into a local autoparts store curious what i could do for my stripped out bolt hole, instead of the standard "spring" type heli coil the guy had this awesome kit for doing spark plugs.its more of a threaded sleeve.it comes with a tap thats specially designed to fit "original" threads and it automatically bores and cuts in new threads for the insert.best news is the insert fits original drain plug.it may be a couple weeks before i get this kit and do it but ill be sure to post pics!
