I'm about to do a top end on what I'm pretty sure is a 87 lt250r motor. I've got the thing out of the frame and the cylinder off and I was checking the "wiggle room" on the rod and crank. The up and down and wiggle feels acceptable ( semi tight ) however the side to side looks a bit big I'll give a exact measurement if need but I am hoping someone here knows what is the tolerance or has some experience with different rods because I'm not thinking this is an OEM rod. Please advise. Thanks.

there's no washer on the big end, so side play is normal. the big end wear should be checked following the service manual instruction.
88 Lt250r.
