I have a 87 lt250r and i am taking motor apart and there are plastic plugs in the crank in the drill holes. Is this there for a reason. Thanks

I am pretty sure there isn't supposed to be a plug of any sort in the crank webbing holes. I have 3 oem cranks in a container. None have plastic plugs
