Can two strokes run off nitrous oxide?

Just curious if it's possible and how would one go about doing it. This may be a dumb question but you won't know unless you ask.

Very possible. Many have done it already. Wouldn't suggest it on a zilla unless you know a lot about running nitrous and know how to tune an engine.

Has anyone tried it on a 250?

unless you are only drag racing, there is no point to do it.

Or if your riding on highways (like I do a lot of) and a cop sees you. Lol then it's time to turn and burn.

I hope the nitrous has magical powers for you sake in that situation. It needs to make you disappear because if you have to stay on the spray long enough to make your bike disappear over the horizon, the piston will disappear before your bike gets that far.

I would think about getting your quad street legal if you want to take it on the public roads before I worry about the spray.

Can't make it street legal in Missouri. Only legal to ride on county dirt roads. I only asked about nos cause I haven't heard of anybody on here talking about it. Not looking for black magic motogeek. Just looking for things to make my 86' a little different than what everybody else has or is doing. If I were to install nos, it would be a mild shot to get me up a sand dune a little faster or to drag race my brothers banshee and hopefully put him to shame. His shee is purely stock and heavy.

So long as you're shooting in fuel to compensate for all the added O2 you're getting from the NO2, you should be fine.

It's not hard to convert your frame to accept the later 87-92 LT-250R engines. Then you can have your choice of pipes. Plus you get a 6 speed!

Will the transmission hold up to a 20 hp shot? I don't plan on holding down the nos button very long, just a squirt here and there. Too afraid of melting piston. I was thinking I could use it under full throttle only and use a mild shot. Is 20 hp a mild shot? To me it doesn't sound like it... Do they make smaller jets for maybe 5 or 10 hp? Did you use this nos on a zilla?

looked on their site and they offer 10hp shots. I never "used" it. I filled the cylinders with nitrous. wired and plumbed my frame and sprayed it with the motor off and nozzles away from the carb.
it was for my drag liger/zilla

Hmmmm. If I borrowed it to see if I could make it work, and was successful... would you be willing to sell it?

Also, does

have No2 on their zilla that can post up pictures showing how they did it?

Make sure you adapt some type of lube system or premix. Looks to be setup for a oil injection two stroke.
You will also have to make sure your oil works with methanol, most don't

the kit I have had its own fuel tank. pour your prefix in and when the nitrous is sprayed it draws the fuel.

That sounds fairly easy STPLTN250R. Now I wonder if my belray mc1 will work with methanol...I also have castor 927

Does anybody run a setup like what was described above? I'm wanting to see just how others have done it. Also curious what oils will work with different fuels. I can't do this unless I get that info.

Google is your friend. Maybe premix oil companies post the info online.

there are other kits out there. cold fusion has an atv kit. you would have to buy a fuel pump, regulator and build a return to tank. You would have to get a battery for both set ups (Boss Noss and Cold Fusion).

Is this something an experienced builder can pull off. I mean has anyone installed nos on an 85' or an 86'? Ill probably never stay on the bottle very long hauls though. My brother said I would have to have a mild compression build to compensate for the boost from nos. I don't feel competent enough to try installing it and jetting for it.
