I wonder if I can pull my top end up a little bit and put some sealant around the base gasket and slide it back down without breaking my head loose? It just seems a little strange for it to leak anywhere else right after I replaced those gaskets since it was fine before I did it. I've checked the throttle cable, and I just checked the boot and it seems to be ok so that's why I was thinging it's the base gasket. When I look at the new one I just took off, you can see where the case halves come together on it, it looks darker on one side like it was a little higher on that side? The new gaskets don't even 10 minutes on them, but I don't know about reusing a head gasket ever.
